Strap-up sandals are our most produced category in the summer. Every spring, we start releasing new styles and sell them until autumn.
When making sandals, appearance is paramount. But looks can't come at the expense of durability. Especially with embellishments and buckles-if they fall off, they look unsightly.
We use a lot of embellishments, and each one has to be securely attached. We conduct tests: dropping the shoe from a certain height to see if the embellishments fall off, and rubbing them vigorously with a cloth to see if they get scratched.
We also test the metal buckles. We repeatedly fasten and unfasten them to see if they loosen. We soak them in salt water to check for rust, so you can wear the sandals to the beach without worrying about seawater damage.
For the upper materials of our strap-up sandals, we chose genuine leather, PU, and fabric. Genuine leather is breathable, PU comes in many colors, and fabric is casual. You can find whatever style you want.
We test the anti-slip properties of the soles. In summer, feet tend to sweat, and the ground can be wet. Good anti-slip performance ensures a stable walk. This is especially important at poolside or beach areas where the ground is slippery.
We put a lot of thought into the insoles. Since you wear the sandals barefoot, your feet rest directly on them. We use soft materials like latex or memory foam that conform to the arch of your foot. They're comfortable to walk in, and you won't get tired even after a long day. They also don't rub against the heel, so you don't need bandages.
A young girl bought our sandals to wear to a music festival. She said she stood all afternoon, but her feet didn't hurt, and the rhinestones didn't fall off while dancing. She came back and told us that the sandals were great, and she'll buy them again next year. Hearing that made us feel that all the summer work we put into making these sandals was worthwhile.
