100 Cotton Duck Canvas

We classify our canvas by weight per square yard. Lightweight options (6 oz and 8 oz) are ideal for canvas shoe uppers. Standard 10 oz canvas works well for skate shoes. Heavier 12 oz and 16 oz canvas are thicker and stiffer, making them suitable for work shoes and safety shoes. We offer both 100% cotton and polyester-cotton blends and can match your specific requirements.

We pay close attention to weaving density. Ordinary canvas has large gaps between the warp and weft threads, making it prone to deformation over time. Our 100% cotton duck canvas is densely woven, making the upper less likely to deform and more tear-resistant. One client producing vulcanized shoes reported that their return rate for deformed uppers was cut in half after switching to our canvas.

Shrinkage is a common issue with ordinary canvas, which may become smaller after washing. Our canvas undergoes pre-shrinking treatment, with shrinkage controlled to within 3%. This ensures that cut upper pieces retain their accurate dimensions after bonding or washing, guaranteeing consistent shoe sizes.

We ensure that colors remain vibrant even with sunlight exposure or washing. Our canvas is free of formaldehyde and banned azo dyes, fully complying with European and American environmental standards.
